- Bob Lee - "Accidental" Missionary to East Asia

Tuesday, 8 September, 2026 - After a summer break from the heat, Men's Roundup is back!

Bob has been married to his best friend Carolyn for 50 years. They overcame the “mixed marriage” challenge of Bob graduating from Texas A&M and Carolyn graduating from the University of Texas. Together, they raised five amazing children. Bob’s career in manufacturing took the family from Texas to Illinois and Kansas. Bob had given no thought to global missions, but as he began to pray about what to do in retirement, he “accidentally” told the Lord that he would “go anywhere” and “do anything.” Things began to happen from there. They spent three years in China sharing their faith, experiencing some amazing transformations, and learning much. After three years in China, they returned to Texas, where Bob began to direct and oversee missions work that took him and Carolyn all across East Asia.

Bob and Carolyn are now in Austin, Texas and active as independent missionaries with Community Vision International. Much of their mission work is now in a country with many challenges, the USA, where Bob accepts speaking opportunities and trains the lay people of the church. However, Bob and Carolyn remain willing to “go anywhere” and “do anything,” so come hear about their latest “accidental” missionary adventure to Pakistan.

- Greg Lewis - Builder turned missionary

Tuesday, 13 October, 2026

Greg was a very successful custom homebuilder in San Antonio since 1982.

13 years ago he heard the voice of God telling him to drop his nets and follow Him.

Greg and his wife, Amy, followed instantly.

He didn’t sell or retire. He just stopped and went into full time ministry.

It was quite painful to them at first, watching all that they thought was valuable go away.

But now they’re living abundantly, moment by moment, totally dependent on God for all things.

Greg is at Men's Roundup to tell  you what it looks like for a successful businessman to hear God say “Drop your nets and follow Me”

And actually do it.

As Greg speaks, God will get the glory, and you will get the joy of hearing what he does.
